I designed this recipe years ago, but it's been a family favorite for decades. It's so easy, you'll fall in love.
August is the peak month for peaches. It's perfect for a make-ahead dessert.
Freezes well. Peaches are in-the-season, and there's no reason not to try them. Sweet, healthy, and easy to eat.
2 fresh peaches, yellow's, sliced
12 oz. ice cream, vanilla or pecan - yummy
1 tsp. orange marmalade
1/2 tsp. honey
Serves 1 or 2
Add all the above ingredients to a blender. Process until mixed well. Pour into a tall freezable glass. Serve immediately or freeze for later.
