WHERE'S THE BEEF



This recipe will fill-even the pickest eater.


Besides the protein and vitamins, discover a delicious recipe packed with veggies. The kids will love it!


Preheat oven to 425 (cooks well)


1 tbs. butter


8 oz. Fresh sliced mushroom


1 small sweet white onion, diced


1 lb. extra lean ground beef


1 cup veggies (cooked)


1 1/2 cup shredded cheese


2 eggs


1-1/2 cup medium hot mashed potatoes.


Using a large nonstick skillet, add butter. Lightly brown. Add onions and mushrooms.


Cook on medium high heat, stirring often. Add the ground meat, cooked thru Stir often.


Watch the video and see how you can mince the meat. Add veggies and mix thoroughly.


Set aside and let cool before adding the eggs. In the same pan you used to cook the food.


Mix all the ingredients. Using a pie plate coated with nonstick spray, Now your ready to cover with potatoes. Before topping with the potatoes, they should be warm to medium hot. It’s much easier to cover and a spread.


Top with potatoes. Nice added touch is that in 1/2 cup of the shredded cheese sprinkled over the potatoes.


Place in oven for about 40 minutes. Make sure top is nice and brown.


Carefully remove, let cool a tad before you slice it like a pie.
